Wood briquettes is currently the most environmentally safe and cheap type of fuel, which makes it especially economically attractive taking into account growing gas and oil prices.

European standards
Standards used in Europe.
wood briquettes are strongly standardized type of fuel. There are 2 German standards DIN 51731 and since 2002 DIN Plus, Swedish - SS 18 71 20, and Austrian standard O-NORM M 71 35. The standards are considarably different from one another.
